Plans underway for nationwide initiative “A Passion for Life” in April 2010

New PictureA Passion for Life is a nationwide initiative to proclaim Christ’s PASSION for the LIFE of the world in March 2010. It is hoped that here in Ipswich there will be a number of events for those in the town and surrounding area as churches partner together.
It means:
  • connecting with people - making contact with unbelievers in our local communities
  • connecting with churches - partnering with Evangelical churches for the sake of the gospel
  • connecting with Easter - rediscovering the glorious message of Christ's death and resurrection
An introductory meeting will be held on 29th April 2009 for ministers, church leaders and outreach co-ordinators. This will be in The Key in St. Margaret’s Plain, Ipswich, IP4 2BZ at 7.45 for an 8pm start. Parking is available in The Key car park and at St. Margaret’s School, Bolton Lane.

A Passion for Life is all about God the Father – furthering his purpose of redeeming a great multi-cultural people for life in his Son, by stirring up local churches across the land to work together in numerous mission initiatives that climax in March 2010 for his glory alone.

A Passion for Life is all about God the Son – his marvellous death and resurrection for sinners that can be celebrated at Easter by people of all ages and backgrounds.

A Passion for Life is all about God the Holy Spirit – who, through his Holy Word, is calling us to prayer and transforming the way we think about our churches, evangelism and the world around

I am a retired police officer (Metropolitan & Suffolk) converted in my 60s and now fully committed to open-air work in Felixstowe. A member of Bethesda Baptist Church in Felixstowe, I am supported and encouraged in this weekly Saturday outreach by this wonderful church fellowship. I am also an associate worker with the O-AM and plan to hold a week of 'events' to coincide with the national activities in 2010. I share your vision and thank you for the information supplied on the website. 'You can have evangelism without revival but not revival without evangelism'.
