Ipswich in Prayer
Introduction
Ipswich in Prayer began in 2000 and now has around 60 churches involved. Prayer is the foundation that fuels all that we do as the Church in Ipswich
Type/scope of work
IIP hosts united prayer events; co-ordinates prayer for particular events / issues / periods; organises prayer walks; runs Prayer Schools and seminars; networks regionally and nationally; and brings together Church leaders in prayer.
Aims/purposes
Our vision statement is:
· To raise the profile of and commitment to prayer
· To unite the Church in and around Ipswich in prayer
· To see God transform this town, region and nation through prayer

· That the Church would respond to the call to pray, and that we would be enabling others to discover the possibilities and power of prayer
· That we would hear, understand and respond to God’s heart for the Town
· That God would bring together His Church in this town and send us out with one purpose and one heart to love and serve the Town
