East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) are looking for volunteers in Ipswich to help run two youth groups.

 

‘The Lounge’ – this runs at the Treehouse Hospice, St Augustines Garden, Ipswich 6 times a year on a Friday evening (6.30pm- 9.30pm). This group is for young people who have a sibling who uses the hospice services.

 

‘The Hub’ – this runs on the 1st Friday of each month (The Priory Centre, Queens Way) from 7pm to 9pm for young people who use the hospice services, their siblings and their friends.

 

Volunteers need to have experience of working with children or young people, be reliable and have a good sense of humour!

Volunteers will need to undertake an enhanced CRB Disclosure before joining the team East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) helps local life threatened children and their families by providing a range of services at the hospice or at home There will be informal interviews for us to get to know each other on 6^th May and a training event on the 20^th May.
