CYM tackles tough issues

CYM’s regular event for 11 to16 year olds, “The Platform”, is tackling some of the issues raised by the 10 commandments. This month they will be looking at the subject of adultery.
 do not commit adultery
What does it mean to be faithful with something that God has given and designed for you….. what does it mean to be unfaithful to that and what are the consequences….. How does God call us to live faithful lives in our relationship with Him, but also with each other?

Platform organiser, Emily Hannah, writes “In the usual fun, interactive, thought provoking way, we’ll be looking at some of these questions, trying to get to the heart of this commandment, and what it means for each of us, whether married or not married.

With the usual mayhem, laughter and fun, this is a great opportunity for 11-16 year olds to not only have fun, meet together, but also to spend time hearing about God, and spending time with Him.”

The Platform is a fun, interactive, multimedia event for 11-16yr olds, run by CYM, and held at St Andrews Church, Britannia Road, from 7pm – 9pm, £2 entry on Saturday 19 March.
