Call to Prayer!

Are you age 20 – 30?
Craig Hutton would love to hear from you if you are desperate to see a move of God amongst young people of your generation in Ipswich (and across the nation!)

IMGP2134We believe this will only happen through prayer. 2 Chronicles 7:14 (the IIP foundation verse) says, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

If you are between 20 and 30 and would like to get together with other young people to pray for God to meet with this generation, please contact Craig by email craig_abs_hutton@hotmail.co.uk (that’s two underscores in there!) or by phone on 07783 959317.

A small group who have already expressed an interest in making this happen will be meeting in mid July to seek together the way forward, and your input is valued.

Craig will be joining the Ipswich in Prayer team and this initiative will come under the banner and accountability of IIP.

We are also praying that we would have the facility and resources to set up a permanent 24/7 prayer room in Ipswich! Please pray with us for this.
For everybody!!!
For 6 years Ipswich in Prayer has taken part in the Global Day of Prayer, the last two years as part of the Pentecost Celebrations on the Cornhill.

Now the National GDOP team are calling the Church across the nation to come together in 500 days of continuous prayer, beginning on August 1st 2010 and ending on December 31st 2011. In September 2011 there will be a National Day of Prayer, provisionally booked to be held at Wembley (details will follow).

Towns and cities are being asked to sign up to cover one day a month for the 17 months and we are really hoping that the Church in Ipswich will respond and commit to this. 24 hours a month should be possible………???

More details of how we are aiming to do this will follow soon, but please begin to pray that we would be able together to make this happen.
