Pentecost 2010 - Photo gallery

"23^rd May 2010 saw the second Pentecost event to be held in Ipswich on the Cornhill, when over 2500 people from over 45 churches in the town assembled to praise the Lord. It was great to see the new Mayor Councillor Jane Chambers attending the event. We were indeed blessed with the weather as it was hotter this year than last. It was great to see ‘one church’ combining together to lift the Lords name high in our home town.

 

As part of the management team can I take this opportunity to thank all the people who were involved in this event, from the task force which arrived on the Cornhill at 5.30 am to set out the site, Gofer who undertook the erection of the stage and PA, the people who organised the children’s activities, all those taking part in the service including the worship band and singers, the gospel choir, those who told their stories and to Eddie Vass who gave the word. Our thanks also to Ipswich Borough Council and Ipswich Buses for all their support".
