Talitha Koum project is moving ahead

The trustees report that progress has been rapid and the project is now moving into an exciting phase. By the autumn of this year they aim to be open on the Suffolk Farm and for six women to be in residence.

An agreement has been signed for the use of the land, and an architect is working to help gain planning permission. The first meeting with the planners is scheduled for early March.

A colour booklet is shortly to be published, which will outline the plans and give information on the project, The Talitha Koum Christian Therapeutic Community will offer vulnerable women a way out of addictive behaviour and a way back to freedom, choice and wellbeing.

For the next phase, and in order for vision to become reality this year, the Trustees need a further £125,000. John Cobbold - “We have taken the first steps but now we are moving forward in faith and obedience, so we’re asking for your support to help us show love and offer a second chance to those who need it urgently, right now.

We’re going to need lots of people to be involved, practically and in prayer, as things move forward. Please join us if you can, for coffee and cakes at St Luke’s Church Cliff Lane on Thursday 25th February at 7pm to meet the team, hear the latest progress and make yourself known. “
