Ipswich CYM appoints a new CEO
Ipswich Christian Ministries (CYM) has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer to replace Dave Pepper, who left the Ipswich based organisation just over a year ago.
The new leader is Bob Molton, who is currently Principal of a WEC International mission school in Senegal, Africa.
Bob, 47, trained as a High school teacher in the UK and previously taught for some years in schools in Cornwall. He also has a degree in theology from Birmingham Bible Institute, and for a time was Pastor of a church in Brest in France.
Bob will be returning to the UK in July, with his wife, Dee and two children, aged 14 and 16. The whole family speaks fluent French and the children will experience a major change as they adapt to the British education system.
He expects to start work with CYM in late summer of this year.
CYM’s Administrator, Ian France, says “Please pray for Bob and his family as they prepare to make this major change in their lives. They will be new to this area of the country and will need to find somewhere to live, suitable schools etc. Also please pray the God will guide Bob as he leads CYM into the next phase of its work among the young people of Ipswich”.
