Successful launch of plans for Ipswich 2010 mission
Some 60 church leaders gathered at 'The Key' in Ipswich on April 29th for the launch of A Passion for Life Ipswich, part of a nation-wide gospel initiative in March 2010.
There was a very positive response to the whole idea at the launch, with many people staying behind to chat avidly about all that is involved.
Stephen Gaukroger is coming to Ipswich as the main speaker in a town-wide evangelistic mission and, as a result of the discussions, the Corn Exchange has been booked for 4 nights. Local clusters of churches are getting together to pray, to do evangelism training, and to organise pre-mission gospel events in their areas.
“I look forward to working with you in the coming months” said Stephen Gaukroger. “We pray that God will use this mission to help many people in the Ipswich area discover Jesus.”
If you would like someone to come and give a presentation to your church, or would like to join our mailing list, please contact the chairman, Andrew Docherty, on 01473 225035, or write to A Passion for Life Ipswich, C/o 9 St Margaret's Plain, Ipswich, IP4 2BB.
We hope to make the video message from Stephen Gaukroger and the presentation from the launch available to download from this website.
A town wide Mission in 2010 does not run itself! We anticipate that the costs for the Mission will be between £10,000 and £15,000.
A ‘Passion for Life’ cannot not run without financial support both from local churches and from individual believers who are behind the mission. Do you personal circumstances allow you to give? If the answer is yes, please consider making either a one off gift or a monthly donation to a ‘Passion for Life’ here in Ipswich!
To make a gift either send a cheque made payable to A Passion for Life – Ipswich to our Treasurer Steve Andrews c/o 9 St Margaret’s Plain, Ipswich,IP4 2BB. Or make a regular gift into our account the number for which is 10165080 and the sort code 16-22-17.
Help us to make ‘A Passion for Life’ a Mission that Ipswich will remember for years to come!
