Bishop Nigel is to lead a Diocesan Pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 2010. Leaving from Heathrow on the morning of 24th February, the ten day trip will visit many of the sites familiar from the ministry of Jesus Christ.

However, in addition, the travel group organising the visit works closely with the Palestinian Church. Now just two percent of the population, the Christian community has shrunk over the years, because it, more than any other group, has been squeezed between other factions and groups. "Whenever you meet people proclaiming faith in difficult circumstances, it always puts your own concerns in perspective," says Bishop Nigel.
