Evaluate launch their new presentations in Ipswich schools

Evaluate have recently delivered their first presentations, called “Sex -How Safe?”, to 267 year 9 students in local schools. The package was well received with 79% of the young people recording it as good or excellent.
 Evaluate Team
The presentations were aimed at providing soundly based information (many of the Evaluate team have a medical background) and helping the students to think through the issues for themselves. After the presentation all said that it had helped them understand the risks better, together with the importance of contraception, and 75% of the group said that it had helped them think more clearly about the benefits of delaying having sex.

Many comments were a real encouragement. Here are a few examples:-
It helped me realise that sex isn't the most important thing in a relationship”
“It made me see that quite a lot of people were waiting for marriage”
“It taught me not to rush into things and made me want to wait until I am way older”
“It showed me that you don't have to have sex to look cool”

Please pray for these young people and that the presentations will continue to have an impact in their lives. Please also pray for doors to open in more schools in the area.
