Christmas Tour of Ipswich Primary Schools

Every year Ben Wale and the CYM Gap Year Team make a tour of Primary schools in the area, taking special assemblies in each. This group is called the “Elevate Team", which this year included Josh Anstey, Will Leech, Lucy Gordon, Chris Seager and Mary Balment.

 

The team went into 12 schools that had been involved in the One Christmas project to share the Christmas message with the children in a way that they would find memorable and entertaining.

 

The assemblies included two sketches, which had been written by the team. The children were also involved in a game of “Shepherds’ I-spy”, then joined in an action song from the One Christmas CD and shared in a prayer.

 

Ben said “Over the years this event has provided many lasting and funny moments, but always a great time is had by all!”
